Whether you are talking about being faithful, sticking to promises or keeping spending in check, if you can’t trust your partner you will always be ill at ease and never fully happy.

Of course, there are many reasons not to trust somebody. Perhaps they have been untruthful before or maybe told a small lie that has made you wonder what else they are not telling you. Some people are just shifty in all things. Whatever it is you might want to move on before the relationship becomes too deep.

The problem with suspicions is that often they are unfounded. If you have had the dirty done on you in the past, you may be looking for the same thing again. If you are always questioning your partner, then they may well feel pressured and under suspicion for no reason at all and they may decide to move on themselves.

So what to do? Be honest with your partner at all times and expect the same back. If you do have a suspicion then bring it out into the open and ask a straight question.
